There could be a few reasons why your washer is stuck in lock mode with the door open. One possibility is that there is something blocking the door from fully opening, preventing the lock from disengaging. Another possibility is that the door latch itself is damaged or broken, and needs to be replaced. If you're not sure what the issue is, it's best to call a qualified technician to take a look and diagnose the problem. Once they identify the issue, they should be able to resolve it quickly so you can get back to using your washer as normal.

Modern vehicles are fitted with a steering lock which is an anti-theft device. It is fitted to the steering column usually below the steering wheel. The lock is combined with the ignition switch and engaged and disengaged either by a mechanical ignition key or electronically from the vehicles electronic control unit. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NEXIQ 125032 USB Link Plus

Hello dktshopping,
I know you probable don't want to hear this but in you circumstance, I think you would be better off to contact a repair professional. Those oven door locks are meant to keep the door from opening during the oven's self-cleaning cycle. They are both mechanically and temperature controlled so that the door can not be opened when the oven is 950 degrees. It sounds to me as though something is not releasing to allowing the locking mechanisim to disengage from the door even though the lever is in the unlock position. The unit will probably have to be taken apaprt to remedy the problem. Good luck.
Try putting it into CLEAN MODE and wait about 3 minutes.... then cancel the clean mode. Sometimes this will release the relay if its stuck.
If that doesn't work, you have a problem with the latch relay and you need service on the unit. You can try and remove the latch assembly yourself, but it can be tricky, and you may create more problems than you fix.
You have pressed C.LOCK (child lock) which turns off the control buttons on the front of the unit
Press C.LOCK again to switch off the child lock.
OFF will appear in the display window.
