It is a new tv.Take it back where u bought it and trade it in for another tv.This tv have those 2 LCD long inverter boards have problems.These 2 long LCD inverter boards are to help the tv LCD screen panel to have a backlight for the tv LCD screen to produced a picture.

this is a convergence ic problem , u need to replace the convergence ic take the front speaker grill off and the cover for the picture tube , stk392-110

Good Day sir/maam, my guess are several, lets start at the common ones, make sure that the AV cables are good. you can try swapping cables to make sure. If possible try the cables on other units such as any DVD player. There is a possibility that the sound jack, is bad, try to vibrate the plugged cable, and see if the sound goes back if it does, you need to solder the terminals. Worse is the Amplifier section of the TV. does the TV sound normal on broadcast? check the volume, mute. or the TV setup. hope this helps. if you have additional info please feel free to ask again, let me know any progress. thanks

The clicking sound is the TV trying to restart itself. It generally attempts this several times before giving up. The blinking code indicates the type of error (error codes are documented in the manual for the TV). The most likely cause is a burned out bulb, but could be something else.
If it is a bulb, it is usually replaceable without a service technician, and at a cost far less than $450.

Very likely to be a heat issue, the first thing to do would be to clean the ventilation slots in the back.

your tv is under shutdown state, there is a protecting circuit that prevent the tv from turning on when there is a short

This usually is heat related. Is the filter clean? The fan working? Otherwise there is most likly a "so called" cold solder joint...where the connection on a board is not positively made...often when it warms up the joint will 'open'..disconnect. This needs re-soldering.

need to have the STK IC's replaced to correct convergence problem
