My dell mini inspiron doesn't work when i turn it on; it starts but then nothing, it is obvious that it is on but it is only a black display on the monitor. What could be the problem?

My dell inspiron mini 10 was shut down while scanning the system thru the use of stinger then when i start to push the power button it wont start on, only the light power on is blinking 0r flashing when im trying to push the power button, then i tried to remove the battery & ac adaptor then i push the power button for 30seconds then i plug the ac adaptor without using the battery then it started on the i saw the stinger is still scanning the system then after 3 minutes it shut down again, & i did the same thing again by removing the adaptor & holding the power button for 30seconds but it did not work out.. what it is possible cause? is it the stinger that i installed? or is it my motherboard is malfunctioning? thank u

You can switch it OFF and remove the battery.
Wait for 5mins, Connect the battery again, Also connect the Power Cable to the Laptop.
Try to switch it ON, It should work.
