Check if your computer is getting a valid address from your modem. if so, try to ping the modem's address and check if you'll have replies. if it'll reply, try to disable any antivirus software and firewall installed on the computer or try to use another browser. if not, check i the computer is properly connected to the modem, try to use another port or another known working cable. also try to use another computer for isolation.
