Im in san diego usa and my nokia 5310 b I bought on craigs list is asking for a "security code" ive tried all the default codes "000,12345,, and even the master reset code. Nothing is working. Also any time the "#" key is pressed it goes straight to "code error" like when entering other codes. Help please...

It may be talking about a subsidy code too. If it's a GSM phone and you are running a SIM card that is designed for a different network than the phone was made for, this may be the issue and in this case there is often little or no recourse aside from getting your money back.
