How ro turn on the wireless in NEC versa - NEC Versa LX Notebook

Check first if the device has a driver. check as well if there's wireless switch button on the laptop.

I think you will find a WiFi switch somewhere around the edge of ya case, move it to the other direction, OR it is the Fn Function key, and perhaps a,little wifi signal printed on a key, press them at same time to turn it on.

there should be a swich that has a simbol of a weird w by it ethir on top next to the key board or on the side

The phone jack does not fit because it is an RJ45 network port. If you are using a cable modem or router for your dsl connection you should be able to connect directly with a cat5 network cable.

Or if you have a free USB port you can purchase a wireless adapter like THIS ONE and use it via the USB port.

is it the bluetooth function for NEC versa E6300 for mouse only?

Try the settings for wireless stuff; they include on and off, especially if the drivers for that network card are loaded.

This is a pretty old laptop about 10 yrs. It does not come with wireless support. It probably has Windows 98 installed on it.
You might be able to set up wireless via the USB port.

when the bluetooth and wlan light are off press the wireless button three times and wait a sec and it will work. thats what nec told me
