I have whirlpool conquest 2001 GS6SHAXKQ01 refrigerator, side by side. refrigerator side is not cooling internal temp is 60F it seems that the top part (Styrofoam) is not cold the bottom is a bit cold and it seems that the frig is sweating.
what could be the problem what needs to be replaced.

Don't let them tell you that the problem is related to "sulfur" in your water. It's a scam so that they don't have to repair the problem. The actual problem is that they don't use quality parts to build these units anylonger.

My first clue was the ice melting out the front of my Whirlpool Conquest. I then thought it was just the freezer section but noted several hours later the frig side was warning up. I checked the breaker and flipped it thinking it had tripped. Lights continue to come and I believe the air circulation continues to work. What else can I do to trouble shoot? Does this sound like the compressor? I've had the machine since June of 2001. Please advise. Thanks KB
My Whirlpool Refrigerator model ED20DB/DF is not cooling much at all on the freezer side, The refrigerator side seems to be ok however????

Same Here! Used to have issues were I could unplug and it would "reset" but now it does not cool any longer at all. Woke up yesterday morning to a pool of water on my hardwod floor! When we 1st bought it I had to have it serviced and they guy said it was the motor started (basically a relay) for the compressor. Seems like similiar issue now but its not under warranty. I sometime here a clicking also...
I have had the same problem. The freezer randomly stops working...out of the blue it will start working again. My first indication is the ice cubes begin to melt . I have a repairman coming.. but would love to know what it could be to avoid being ripped off
