Ventilate! I have a Saeco Royal Professional Espresso machine brought second hand by my partner with no instruction manuel. The machine is reading 'ventilate' and all the information I have found on the internet is not fixing the problem. I cannot get the machine to do anything.

Can you get water out of the machine by pushing the hot water button?

This is how you would remove the ventilate message in the first place, but if no water comes out then the machines electro-valve is not opening and you will not be able to remove the ventilate message. You will have to get the machine serviced.

I would also give descaling the machine a try before servicing the machine.

You can also find the user manual for the royal professional on our website: http://www.cerinicoffee.com/Saeco_User_manuals_free.asp

Ventilate

You need to push the hot water button on the machines panel to allow water to run out of the steam wand. After a few seconds the machines ventilate message should clear.
