First the red bulb light was flashing and there was no picture. So i replaced the burnt bulb. Now when i go to turn the tv on were the red light means off and the green light mean on (that light blinks 3 times red yellow green. then turns off. And no pic.

Check Lamp Fan if it stops running when Lamp trys to Light ,Then Lamp will not Power up,or Ballast Board itis what powers Lamp on.

Check the TV manual to decipher the codes. The short and long blinks actually mean something. Could be a bad replacement bulb, colorwheel, ballast, or some other issue. Decode the lights.
It could be the temp sensor going bad. This sensor sits on top of the
metal housing which the bulb assembly slides into. The bulb assembly
will have a hole on top and this is where the sensor is above. There is a
small blue and white wire that plugs into it. If you pull the wire out
and put a paper clip or wire in the coupling you will basically bypass
the sensor connecting the blue and white wire. If your tv turns on then
that is your problem. Its cheap too. Here were my symptoms..1] Turn tv
on 2] Bulb would light up..(which eliminates the ballast) regular
picture would show up (which eliminates the bulb and color wheel) 3] 30
seconds later tv would shut down with 3 flashing lights. After bypass
the tv turned on as always and hasnt shut down yet. Always un plug tv
first. Get the replacement part to avoid overheating and possible fire
If the lamp has been replaced I would think the Lamp ballast would be most likliest followed by the color wheel and then the Digital board. You can get any part needed for your model at www.tvrepairworld.com just leave them a email they respond quickly.
same problem. TV turns on but no picture or sound. when i press power button on the remote control orange light flashes for about a minute and goes back to red.

6 blinks means a low B error. Which is no DD 6volt output on G1 board . This will cause no picture and no sound. To fix this yourself you would need the manual to get the correct sequence to test and proper part to order. I own a Sony T.V. model #KV36HS510, Serial # 9024184,Event# E36002407 and it"s aTrinitron brand name. Like the problems before no picture or sound, stand by light on front of unit flashes. When trying to turn it back on you can hear the power click, like it wants to turn on, but does not.
i also have the same problem with the flashing green light for a while then a different red light starts blinking on and off around 5 times....and i replaced my burnt bulb with a new one...still no picture.
