Assuming that you have sufficient hot water, you need to adjust the Scald-Guard valve. It's usually quite easy to do. The intent is to limit the amount of hot water that can be fed to to shower head or tub spout. On the 1300/1400 series faucents there is a disk behind the faucet knob/lever called the rotational limit stop. Remove the knob/lever, either by popping the cover off the knob and removing the screw with a Philips head screw driver, or removing the handle with an allen wrench. Next adjust the rotational limit stop disk clockwise to increase the limit on hot water flow. Delta claims each tooth you click past clockwise will increase the maximum water temperature by 6 degrees F.

Delta has a great FAQ on their web site. As of Jan 30, 2011, this link is valid:
http://www.deltafaucet.com/customersupport/faq/Water+Temperature/

If the rotational limit stop disk is already turned to the maximum point (clockwise), then you may have a hot water flow problem (either with the cartridge or to or in the manifold). The cartridges require a little more know-how to replace. You'll need to shut off the main water valve prior to removing the old cartridge. There are a couple of places that detail how to replace and/or service the cartridges, including a short video on youtube. I can post more details on this if you find you need to replace the cartridge.

First check at sink that you even have hot water. (I had to show friend that 1 of his 2 heat elements in water heater had gone bad. After replacing it then mega hot water).
I am not sure which delta model you have but some of them have a little lever behind plate that u can adjust for hotter water.

If you are not mechanically inclined then don't. Ive seen some cause more problems trying to do-it-urself.

This is my tub/shower faucet in my 2019 mobile home. How do I get the handle & face plate off to adjust the anti scald mechanism (to make the water temp hotter).? I’m a senior & don’t have any help with...

The handle will have a small allen head grub screw underneath it behind the lever. Once that is removed, you can remove the handle and then the Phillips head screws I see. That will give you access to the works.

HOWEVER, I doubt there is any adjustment. Nearly all mixers are thermostatically controlled. If your shower water isn't hot enough, it will be a mixture of;

Your incoming hot water isn't hot enough.
The incoming hot water has low pressure.
The cold water at the moment is colder coming out of the ground by 5'C.
Cold water always has more pressure and overpowers the hot!

What does "EFO" stand for? It keeps blinking on my washer

EF0

displays due to washer over-sudsing or due to washer not filling with

Hot

water.

Causes for washer over-sudsing

:

Not using High Efficiency (HE) detergent.

Too much detergent was added.

Using too much 2X or 3X HE detergent

Solutions for over-sudsing

:

Always use HE detergent in an HE washer. It is formulated to be a low-sudsing detergent and made especially for HE washers.

Be sure to use the correct amount of detergent. HE washers require only a small amount of detergent.

Note

: This amount may need to be adjusted for water hardness, load size, and soil level.

If using a 2X or 3X concentrated HE detergent, much less detergent is needed. If suds are seen, reduce the amount used.

If using a water softener, less detergent.

Solutions for Hot water not entering the machine are

:

Make sure both Hot to Cold water hoses are connected properly at the faucets and at the washer.

Fill hoses are usually color coded, blue for cold and red for hot.

Verify that the hot water inlet hose is connected to the hot water faucet.

Verify that the cold water inlet hose is connected to the cold water faucet.

Verify that the hot water inlet hose is connected to the back of the washer into the hot water inlet port.

The inlet port is usually labeled with (H) or (HOT).

Verify that the cold water inlet hose is connected to the back of the washer into the cold water inlet port. This inlet port is usually labeled with (C) or(COLD).
hope this was some help, all the best.

If there is no hot water, first push the reset button on the high-temperature cutoff; test the thermostat and replace if faulty (see below). Test the heating elements and replace if faulty (see below).
If there is not enough hot water, adjust the thermostat settings. As needed, reset, test and replace thermostats and heating elements if faulty.
If the water is too hot, adjust the thermostat settings and reset. Test and replace the thermostat or high-limit cutoff (see below).
An electric water heater is a 240-volt appliance that can deliver a fatal shock. Newer machines know the water temperature. It will mix hot water even on a cold setting if the incoming water is too cold. Detergents need a temperature of at least 60 to activate. This will only happen in the winter usually.

Not enough hot water, has to do with a shower valve

Hello, first if any water supply hot or cold is turned off, you will experience trickling as you mention. You must have both cold and hot in order to adjust the temperature on your valve. if you had a plumber intall this unit you should ask him to adjust it. Otherwise here is how:
Rotate the handle counterclockwise to stop and let water run till cold water is purged, check
temperature. Rotate handle to off, remove handle parts (see Disassembly in your manual) and temperature limit stop, rotate clockwise to decrease and counterclockwise to increase maximum hot water temperature, reinstall temperature limit stop and handle (TIP: Do not screw handle in until desired maximum temperature is achieved) Repeat steps until desired maximum
temperature is achieved

TB3 Brewer is brewing weak tea - how do I adjust?

Hello. Yes, however, you would need to adjust the brewing cycle time to make up for the lost bypass water in order to get the same container level. In other words, the cold water part of the brew cycle is separate from the hot water part of the cycle, if you put in less cold water, and want to keep you container filling to its current level, you would need to increase the hot part of the brew cycle to make up for it, other wise it will brew less into your normal container. If you go to:
http://www.bunnomatic.com/
find your unit by model/type, you should be able to get a owners/installation manual, this will tell how to do it, or call the manufacture.
Hope that helps, and thank you.
