My Canon C-IR2016 is demanding a Administrative ID & Password.
I did entered the Admin PWD and latter removed it. but can't really
tell what happen that after I restarted the copier, it still requested for
the Admin ID & Password. unfortunately the the details i used before
is not functioning any more. PLEASE I need Help !! thanks

Hello iali307. All three error codes have to do with with an item called the fuser. This component, when working properly, is designed to provide extreme heat (to melt the powdered toner) and pressure (to force the melted toner onto the paper and"fuse" or bond the image to the paper. All manufacturers of all copiers make sure that this system (common to all) is intensely monitored as a building burrning down is not a maketing tool. Your copier's "fuser" can be rebuilt, but I would strongly advise the entire unit be replaced. My company (thet are tight assed) realizes the cost /benefit analysis of trying to rebuild these fusers and opts for replacing the unit. The part # is FM2-3345-000 if you live in a standard 120 v part of the world. I hope this helps,I wish you the best. :-) .......................SPINAL
