That is illegal. Either way, you can download the free MicroXP. It's a 90mb ISO file of Windows XP with Service Pack 3. Just do a Google search, and you'll come up with a torrent.

There should be one posted on the case that the product came with. This would be the only legal place to get the cd key from, minus buying a new one of course.
A product key is a set of numbers/letter arranged in a manner which is assigned by the manufacturer of software to activate it. It is like a key of the lock. You cannot open a lock until the key is inserted in it. Similarly You cannot activate/start using the software/program until you use this key. This is done to avoid malpractices like copying of the software/program, security, misuse. This ensures that the product is from a genuine company.
If it's a Brand name computer - the Key code will be right on the outside of the Computer case - Or laptop case. If you lost your code and this machine was a custom build then look in to purchasing another copy of Windows.
If your computer did not come with a product key (usually a sticker on the case somewhere), then you need to go ahead and buy a valid copy of Windows.
