Do you have a connection in your modem?
if you do, you need to set up the linksys router in DHCP internet set up.
To have access to the linksys you need to go to:
http://192.168.1.1
The password it's admin
and the username in blank (no password)
change the internet setup to DHCP

Make sure you don't have the Same address for 192.168.1.1 or you modem cause if you do you'll need to change the ip address on the linksys router...

Did you buy the router in France? Verify you current firmware version from the router's interface (accessible via http://192.168.1.1), I believe the current version available in English is 1.00.6. Download the firmware and flash it on the router. Here's the link:
