KEY ON THAT CAR NOT THAT EXPENSIVE. IT HAS TO BE ORDERED BY A DEALER. THEY WILL NEED CAR VIN# . IT WILL BE THE ORIGINAL KEY CUT. YOU DON'T HAVE TO REPLACE IGNITION LOCK OR DOOR LOCK CYLINDERS. THEN IT HAS TO BE PROGRAMMED TO IMMOBILIZER ALSO BY DEALER.
either the starter bendix is jammed or the operating mechanism that pulls it out has brokje the hinge in the middle so its not being pulled out by the solonoid
that doesnt sound right, they should be carrying parts for at least 20 years worth of vehicles. try another dealer. you should be able to give them your vin and they should be able to produce some keys and key fobs.
be for you replace ignition key. try going to a ford dealer.bring your reg and see if they can punch a key out for you. if not try to find a lock smith to make a key.if no luck you can replace it the switch cost about $25.00
