Kodak easyshare V1253, 120 mega pixels When I turn on the camera the view screen picture is light purple and the view is blurred, if I take a pic this is what is recorder as a picture. If I go to black and white mode all is ok with the camera, I have tried a new battery and new storage card, Any idea whats up, we are on vacation and we are NOT HAPPY about having to buy a instant camera. There is no hope for the display..Plan on spending about 50 - 70 dollars for a new TFT display.

If the camera was not designed to be used as a web cam there is no possible way to do it unless you take it apart and modify the circuit and or programming. This is becasue it is not designed to feed the information through the USB live as it is taking the video.

Go into the menu and find picture quality..set it to extra fine.

lens including the focousing unit must be serviced,while u focous press click button half way till u get green led glow,then click.

did software update
did firmware update
did memory card format
I think it helped.
mine use to take good pix then got blurry.
seems to be better but just did it all and have only taken sample pix.
