Here is a how-to for the printer, but I'm not sure if you mean the printer, or in a program.
If this is not what you need, let me know.

How do I print envelopes on Brother MFC6490CW

Load the envelopes in like paper, tell the printer the size of these to set the paper size, then whatever you're using to print on the envelopes, set up the page size the same size as the envelopes. You should then be able to print on envelopes

I use a Dell 3110 cn printer. There were black splotches whenever I printed envelopes.I had a serviceman look at it to no avail so I changed the black toner cartridge. I am now getting blue splotches. ...

when you print envelopes you have to choose the envelopes in the printer settings then only machine knows that envelope is printing. when you don't select envelope in printer settings when you sent a print, the printer knows the a normal paper is coming through. the difference is that the envelope is a bit thick the normal paper. when envelope is selected in printer properties then the printer adjusts its settings to print on envelopes.

Need to pring envelopes on my konica Minolta hub 350 printer

Place envelopes in either drawer 1 (top drawer) or the by-pass tray. Generally, the envelope is placed side to be printed down. (On the printer you can set up custom envelope sizes.)

Select Print. Click 'Properties' for the printer. In the resultant dialogue window, set the printer to print to the 'envelope' print path.
Click OK, click Print. (test print direction first)
Check your printed envelope. You may need to change the orientation of the envelopes to print with the opening at the top.

How do I print an envelope

Hi,

Step 1- Remove the output tray

307daa9.jpg

Step 2 : Load Envelopes

To print one or more envelopes, follow these steps:

1. Remove all paper from the paper tray, and then slide a stack of envelopes into the tray, with the envelope flaps up and to the left (print-side down), until they stop.

2. Adjust the paper-width guide against the envelopes. Be careful not to bend the envelopes and do not overload the tray.

3. Adjust the paper settings in the Printer Properties dialog box for envelopes. Click the Paper/Quality tab, then select the following print settings:

Size is: The appropriate envelope size
Type is: Automatic or Plain paper

4. Select any other print settings that you want, and then click OK .

5. Print the envelopes.

Won't print envelopes in black

First you need to change the settings in the software you are trying to print the envelope. Open the program (for example MS Word), go to the option from which you print envelopes and labels. Set the font color to black, not "automatic", and in Word, click "default", which sets the color as black rather than allowing the printer or its software to select the wrong color. Then try to print on the envelope and let us know if you are able to print the envelope in black only.

PIXMA 830 Smudges when printing envelopes

On my MP780, be careful to select the appropriate paper type; I was getting black smudges on the left side of my envelopes until I explicitly set that my paper type was "envelope" from "plain paper".
Another idea is to adjust the "ink drying wait time" to a higher level.
