Have you tryed connecting the device into your pc, its either found as a storage device and you can add music to in thought the "my computer" as it appears as a new driver there.
Or it might require some drivers have you tryed and does it request them from you?

You can find your mp3 player in "my computer" as a removeable drive and you can drag and drop files there
as you can see here, my usb memory, on xp. It should appear there just like this it look a little difrent on vista thought.

hi i updated my computer to Microsoft vista
the computre reconized the rio forge
but is does not support music transfer from the music manager to the device
I recheked if i am missing a driver and got the reply the current drivers are the most updated
i been to the website
dowloaded
does not solve the problem
when i do that i i acts a copying then i recieve any eror message
the was a problem connecting to the device
is there a way i can transfer you a print screen of the error message ?
the message is "the request could not be performed because of an i/o device error"
