Poulan 32cc multi-attatchment weedwacker will run with full choke. When you take choke off, it slowly dies. If you give it gas with the throttle trigger, it sounds like it's being muffled and then dies. New gas, new plug, clean air filter. I need help.

Try backing out high speed screw counter clock wise a guarter turn. Also check muffler for blockage. Spark arrester screen may be blocked. Remove screen, clean or replace. I use bernzomatic tourch to burn off deposits.

New poulan pro 25cc chokes out after if I give it full throttle. Runs ok except it wont stay running on full throtle.

I find with my Poulan Pro that you need to let it warm-up abit before applying full throttle, I live in Upstate NY where the weather has bee great lately, however, it stalls easy ..I mix 1-pint of 3 stroke oil to 1-gallon of gas for my weed eater and have no problem

Weedeater dies when you open choke

After you start it and are in the second stage of the choke (half choke ) let it run for awhile until it warms a bit then try openning choke and going to full throttle.

I have a craftmens 25 cc weedwacker thats about 3

it sounds like your carb is out of adjustment and you need to adjust it. Look at the carb on your weedwacker, there is an idle adjustment screw somewhere on it and using either phillips or strait screw head and then carefully turning it clockwise go 1/8 of a turn at a time until the engine idles smoothly.

Only runs on full throttle

Are you saying full throttle, or full choke? if full throttle, you should be able to set the idle up. the idle screw will be the one when you give it gas, it will be the screw on you'r throttle linkage. If full choke, maybe the spark arrestor is plugged. You can remove it by removing the muffler. It would be between the muffler and cylinder head. You don't need this to run.I hope any thing I posted will help.

My 32cc weedwacker starts up fine on full choke, move slowly to 1/2 and it will run strong for a couple seconds and then just shuts off. It does this over and over.

First, check the fuel lines for cracks/breaks.
If they are o.k., then you will need to disassemble the carburetor and spray with carb. cleaner. Make sure the small screen in the carb. is free of debris. Use a Den Tek Brush, (http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=165357&catid=1152), to clean the small portals in carb. Reassemble and start.

(NOTE: If the cleaning doesn't work, then buy a carb. kit abd replace all appropriate parts.)

If you need further assistance, just let me know.

Craftsman weedwacker keeps dying

If the weedwacker runs OK on 1/2 choke or even better on full choke then most likely the cause is the carb gaskets are stiff and can no longer pump the fuel. Of course make sure the fuel lines are are the right ports (return and supply). While you have the carb apart clean all of the passages with carb cleaner.
