Shadows on screen

Try moving a medium powered magnet (not one for picking up heavy objects and not a refrigerator holding one) over the distorted area. If that doesn't work, try a more powerful one. This worked for my Toshiba LCD. Good luck!

Vertical line on LCD TV Panel

Had this same issue on right side of 52" about 1 inch from side but had 3 vertical lines that disappeared after 40 minutes. Have Samsung LNT5265FX/XXA and about 16 months old. LCD Panel itself had to be replaced to fix it, fortunately had extended service plan

Here we go again

The problem is in the LCD panel itself. I am an authorized tech for Sanyo, and in the Chattanooga TN area. Contact Sanyo at 1-800-877-5036. At the prompt hit the 0 key, and then ask for customer service. They will be more then happy to assist.

Lg 37 inch lcd has a dark shadow vertical line down left side of screen about 1cm wide and does not seem to go right to the top or bottom and is slightly wavey

reseat the LVDS cable inside the set. this is the multi wired connector that connects the main board to the panel. if that doesn;t solve your problem replace the main board. if you turn off the set and you can still see it in the screen it is the panel.

Left side of television just started having a shadowing problem?

I have the same problem and was told by a technician that I need to replace the light engine. Probably around $ 700.00.
