Downloads from CD will work without problem. Downloads from a music service will be a problem, because this player does not recognize DRM- encryption. Convert those songs that won't work to Mp3 format with an Mp3 converter.

It wont play the downloading songs

The following may help:
- Ensure that your Music files are of the correct format (usually .MP3 or .WMA suffix and usually NOT .WAV which is the standard CD format). - Ensure that you upload your music .MP3 or .WMA files to the correct directory and names are not excessively long as some MP3 will limit the max name length. If you know a working song on your MP3, locate the directory it resides in and put your songs there. - Lastly, if you have put your song with the correct naming convention/suffix and you now see them in your player list but they will not play, then your MP3/WMA file has non-compatible 'property' whcih is usually the encoding 'bit rate' (usually anything under 128mbps fix rate is good but you can see what is acceptable by looking at the 'properties' of your working songs that are on your MP3 player)

Mp3 will not play

When you installed the songs all you installed was the title. I had this problem with my rca pearl,
you must downlad the song and not just the title of the song o.k.
Try again with the whole song.
when you put your cd's together put them as a playlist

Downloaded songs but won't play on go gear 3020/37 how do i fix

First try opening the gogear device and click on music right after the welcome screen. Select either "All Songs", "Artists" or "Albums" to find your songs. If you downloaded your songs, they should display on the screen of philips gogear, then you can select them to play on your headphones

Only some audio formats (.mp3 .wav and .wma will be play on philips gogear SA 3020/37)

Down loas music

This is an "Mp3-CD player," which is not the same as an "Mp3 player." This device will only play mp3 songs that are recorded onto a CD in audio format. It will not take songs from iTunes, etc. By the way, iTunes songs are AAC format, rather than Mp3 format, so you can't just burn iTunes songs onto a CD and expect it to work with this player either. Sorry.

Help

This is from Memorex FAQs:
Some programs put the track number as the first 2 characters of the song title (file name) this will cause the player to put the songs in the same order as the CD (or album for those of us old folks). If you drag files onto the MP3 players you can arrange them in any order you wish in the file view of your windows computer. When you go through the songs on the MP3 player, they will be in alphabetic order based on the file name (song title usually). You can't change the player's settings to play in anything but alphabetical order. There is a work around: People can force the play list order by naming the songs with a numeric prefix (i.e. 01, 02 etc) so the alphabetic listing in the player will put them in the order you prefer.

Not supported format

Well whats happening is the mp3 player doesnt support that file but if you go to Windows Media PLayer somtimes it will actually change the music format. Or if you're downloading your tracks you could try getting your tracks off cd's. When you downloading songs off the internet I'd suggest using Lime Wire.

My sandisk e260 wont play songs i down loaded

Well, I may have a solution. Some music websites or "free" mp3 websites put a type of license or protection thing on the files that you download so that when you try to listen to them, you can only use certin software/music players and also make it so you cannot use any of the files on your mp3 player/iPod. I tried a place called emusic.com and they say you get 20, or so, free downloads BUT you can only use their music player for them. And the funny thing is, they have avertisements in about half of the packages of new mp3 players in the market. Try looking at their policy or license on the website to see if you can put the songs on your mp3 player. Good luck, and have a nice day.
