If you go to the SANYO website you can download the manual for the TV your talking about, there should be a way to reset the tv to it's factory defaults (don't know if the remote is required for that). This TV is very problematic because the only way to access the A/V inputs is via the remote (you can't get to that function from the MENU button on the TV), a replacement remote can be purchased through the SANYO website for $5.99 (plus shipping, which is probably more than the remote) Most universal remotes won't work because they don't have the game/input button.
Buy a new tv. I've had the same problem over and over. It sucks especially since i'm in college and cant buy a new one! Good Luck though i hope you can figure it out!!
