My samsung B7722, first time insert sim card, after enter pin number, error massage came out "phone freeze, sim unavailable, please contact your service provider" how to settle?

Tired of memorizing new PIN codes? We show you how to change your SIM card's various PIN and PUK codes in less than 5 seconds.

Although most people remember their primary SIM PIN code, those othercodes - used for various verification purposes - are never to be foundwhen needed. Below we've included a set of short codes which, whenentered on a handset's standby screen, will let you easily change PINand PUK (short for Pin Unlock Code) codes - but keep in mind, they maynot work with all handsets and mobile operators.

More importantly, when changing ones PUK codesthere'll be no help to get from the mobile operator if the new codesare forgotten, so make sure to write any changes down alongside the oldPUK codes. Also, please note that the codes should be entered withoutthe spaces shown below.

Change SIM Card PIN

If the phone displays the message "PHONE FREEZE. SIM UNAVAILABLE PLEASE CONTACT YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER" then your phone has got hard locked. You need to unfreeze the phone to get unlocked. You can get the unfreeze code, unlock code through online..........give your IMEI number and get the unlock code for ur mobile.... i will suggest the website TheUnlockSpot.com which is doing good service .....you can approach this website.

there are diff types of codes in the phone..the security code and the pin code..try to remove the sim card from the phone first then put it back..turn on your phone, if your phone shows pin blocked, you have to call your service provider for the PUK (PIN unblocking code)..if you forgot your security code, it depends if your phone will still ask for the security code if you're going to remove the sim card. or if it will show you "INSERT SIM"

OKAY, Ignore the posters saying that you need to buy a 'freeze code', the truth is you don't. If your phone has 'phone freeze. sim unavailiable' please enter in *2767*3655#. After you do so the phone will restart and will work with your sim inserted. I hope this solves your problem.

I entered in the incorrect pin, and now it's asking me for a puk code. what is the puk and pin for my samsung a167?
The puk code only be got from the network operator(company in which you have got sim card).
The puk code does not depend on the mobile model and manufacture.
By providing sim card number which will be printed on sim card and the mobile number you will get puk code from the network operator customer care

Messages When You Turn on the Phone
  • When turning on your phone you may find a message requiring you to take a certain action before you can use the phone. If the message says "INSERT SIM," make sure the SIM card is installed in the phone or that it hasn't become loose. The SIM card is located in the battery compartment. Remove the battery cover and the battery. The SIM card should be located near the bottom of the phone under the metal hinge. Insert or secure the SIM card with the contacts facing down, reinsert the battery and batter cover, and turn your phone on again.

    If the message reads "PHONE LOCK," the SGH U600's automatic locking function is enabled. Enter the phone's password to unlock the phone.

    When using the phone for the first time, you will be prompted to enter a PIN. The PIN is given with the SIM card for your phone. Enter the PIN number exactly as given. You may also have the "PIN Check" feature enabled on your phone, which will require you to enter the PIN every time the phone is powered on. You can turn off "PIN Check" in the "Settings" menu.

    A message asking you to enter a PUK means you attempted to enter the PIN number three times and failed. You must contact your service provider to get a PUK.

    its the fault in your SIM card.remove the sim card from the mobile then clean it with dry tissue also clean the area where sim is inserted in the mobile with a dry tissue.also remove if any dust got collected on the sim or the area in the mobile where sim is instead.
    if this message shows up"Phone Freeze SIM Unavailable Please Contact Service Provider" , Your Sim cards validity might have been expired or you Sim might be damaged. In case of Second case you need to apply for a Duplicate Sim Card from your Service provider.

    How to Enter Unlock Codes

    Switch on your phone with a non-accepted SIM card. The phone will ask for 'Password'. You can now enter your unlock code. (Even if phone doesn't ask for a password, enter the unlock code)

    How to resolve the samsung eternity phone freeze sim unavailable message
    What you have done is lock the sim card, not the phone.
    Contact your provider and ask them for a PUK code. or you can go into your provider location and they will unlock the sim.
    most providers have a default sim pin code like 1234 or 0000
    so ask them what theirs is when you go in.
    it lets you enter a wrong code 5 times and then locks it down for security reasons in case the phone is stolen

    HI,,

    if it is asking a PUK you can refer to this suggestion.

    PUK means "personal unlocking key" .

    The PUK code is asked if you enter a wrong pin 3 times.

    You need to call your phone service company, they can retrieve the puk code from a database
    for free.

    In your case you need to contact your SIM card phone provider technical support to unlock the SIM.


    The PIN and PUK are related to the SIM card, not to the phone.

    If you replace the SIM card with a different one, then the phone should not ask for the PUK anymore.

    Kids played with phone and now says phone lock
    if it displays a phone lock, it will either say enter PIN code, enter PUK code, or it will say SIM unavailable please contact service provider. if it says that, you're outta luck. you gotta go to the nearest at&t store and ask for a new SIM card in your name. you might lose some numbers but hang in there! =)

    This happened to me. Actually different way, But same thing. I have this message after PUK locking my phone and tempting to write a number over and over. I thought it meant the code I wanted to use for the password on my phone. I am still awaiting for a solution! :(
