My DMM for HDD060/00 will not start

Make sure your hard disk has enough space. Most often when the error massage comes it will tell you how much free space is required to install the game look keenly and know how much space is required then either move all media files mainly video files especially downloaded in the download folder to an alternative partition and only leave windows and installed program on Local Disk C. Other wise if your hard disk capacity is very small then am afraid that you will have to get a bigger hard disk.

Maybe you need to remove some junk from your HDD, try freeware CCLEANER at : http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ Download, install ,run and remove the junk to free uo disk space. UNINSTALL unnessary programs. Open Disk Cleanup in Accessories, System Tools, Disk Cleanup, More Options, System Restore and Shadow Copies, Cleanup. Sounds like you need a larger HDD or a external HDD to put Music, Movies, etc. on.

If you are trying to intall Windows XP and you get that message it means that the MBR section in your disk is physical damagaged, you can not perform any installation, your HDD is dead, get a new one. But before that you can try to do a low level format :

2- It's an ISO file, burn it on a CD.
3- Reboot your machine using that CD.
4- Navigating over the menu of Hiren's Boot CD and go to Disks Problem and formatting, (some thing like that).
5- Perform a low level format.
6- The operation will take many times, about 4 to 8 hours.
7- After the operation complete try to install XP.
8- If it does'nt work then get a new HDD.

Try cleaning the CD and trying again.
If you installed the program using a different CD drive letter then you will need to assign a permanent drive letter and then reinstall the program

Okay, here's what you need to do. I'm assuming at some point yours like mine was formatted under windows. This is bad for them lol. Locate your copy of gigabeat room, and install it. This comes with a extra program in the start menu titled formatting utility for gigabeat. Format with this program, and then look under program files/toshiba/gigabeatroom/GBsystem. Copy GBsystem to the gigabeat, then turn the battery off with the switch on the bottom for thirty seconds. That should do it.

IMPORTANT NOTE!!!!!!!!!!!

This can only be done with a computer running USB 1.0. My newer computers could not "see" the gigabeat properly. I used an old machine with outdated USB to get mine to work again :) you can also check for aftermarket firmware called Rock Box, just installed that one mine, no more converting music to *.sat, it'll take straight mp3s now just like it should :) uploaded 20 gigs to it in less than half an hour :) beats the hell out of waiting ten hours for 8 gigs lol!

Are you installing from a disk or a download? Sometimes the program gets corrupted during the download and you have to do it again. You may require specific drivers for your machine. its very simple download samsung pc studio 3 and update the driver from the app you just install

1. Right click on the DMM shortcut and choose Properties.
   
   
2. Click the Compatibility tab.
   
   
3. Under Compatibility Mode switch on the Run this program in compatibility mode for: checkbox, and choose the appropriate operating system e.g. Windows XP (Service Pack 2). Then click OK
   

4. Click on the DMM icon like normal it should then install.

It should have formatted with your ps3, even if you formatted the HDD on your laptop it would have asked you the same thing, since the PS3 asks you that so it can install some folders for the pictures, games music etc.

your problem could be caused by faulty HDD installation, a faulty HDD or a broken ps3 that cant read HDDs anymore.

I would make sure the HDD is installed correctly, if that doesnt work I suggest buying a new HDD. If both of those dont work then you have a Ps3 that has a trouble reading HDDs

I spent alot of time working thru the issues to produce an image for someone else. He forgot who had the problem and was expecting me to run round finding/upgrading my internet connection to upload a 11gig image for him.
What I will do is mail 3 dvd along with program required to create disk. Note you need two PC as the program only creates disk from image downloaded from ftp server. The program is freeware G4U which you'll find easily on the web.
Note my TV system is PAL and I'm not sure if this can be changed.
