This is not a DIY job unless you know what you are doing. But here is a link describing how it is done. I will not be responsible for any accident or damage done from installing it incorrectly. I would advise you to call a qualified electrician. http://members.rennlist.org/warren/install.html

That is a full home back-up unit. You need dealer support. Contact them direct. There is nothing online about re-flashing.

I have a 10 KW Generac Guardian Stand By withe a prwired EZ transfer swithc. Everything works except the 12 volts battery charger. What could be the problem. Only have three weeks innstalled.

Your generator is equipped with a battery trickle
charger that is active when your unit is set up for
automatic operation. The trickle charger is
designed to help extend the life of your battery by
maintaining the battery when the unit is
not running.
you will need to review which circuit bord controls this and have that board replaced or serviced some of these gen heads have this built in and it will be the rectifier in the gen it self it will be a black 1x1x3/8 inch with a mounting hole in the center and 4 lug post for the wires replace this and your issue should be solved but consult your dealer for witch unit you have as to a control board external or the built in rectifier hope this helps.

Guardian generac 10kw model 5502 does not output correct voltage

the instructions says the voltage regulator is automatic/digital. when you check the voltage is there any load on the generator? if applying load to the generator doesn't help, you can manually change the motor speed where the governor connects to the carborator, but it may change the frequency, but the regulator may fix it
