How to format my corrupted memory card (scan disk 4GB sd)? i insert my mmc to card reader and connect to pc to format it but error " no memory card insert ". i think the computer cant read my card at all..

To format your SD card you need the following SD card, SD memory card adapter, SD card reader on your P.C. first insert the memory card into card adapter, insert the adapter into the P.C, click start>my computer> Secure Digital (SD) card and then navigate into the folder named system folder, open the sub-folder MMCstore and you should be able to see your password and recover it, If you want to reset your password you should just format SD card by clicking start> right click on my computer and select manage> Disk management > go to your SD card, right click on it and select format and then start format.

1) Insert your card in the mmc reader.
2) Find the drive in which it is inserted from your pc.
3) Right click the selected drive and select FORMAT but NOT quick format.
4) Now, in the file system selection part, select the file system to be FAT and not FAT 32 or NTFS file system.
5) Start formatting.

Formatting the memory card is a easy process. You can format the memory card from the format option available in memory card option itself. You can also format the memory card using the desktop pc or laptop. Remove the memory card from the phone and connect the memory card in computer using the external memory card reader and format the memory card.

Try to read your memory card with your computer, use memory card reader, if problem same. it's say mmc corrupted, need to format also, that mean your memory card damage already.

you have to check the Following

• Make Sure Your MMC is NOT PASSWORD PROTECTED
• Your Card Reader properly Connected to PC(Make Sure GOOD in Condition about the Reader)
• Properly Inserted MMC to READER
• Change USB port if Still Not Detecting
• Try another MMC to Reader
• Reinsert your MMC
• Reboot your PC

Remove Lock of MMC(Lock might be in Left Side of Your MMC).Still you have Problem Please Change your CARD READER/MMC ...

Put your memmory card in a card reader when you put it first in the
card adapter. Then you can format the card in the internet explorer.

Open itnternet explorer. Loop up your removable disk thats the one its the card reader.
click right button and choose format.

then yu have the option to format in fat32.
after that you card should too be readable again.

bro... i'm warren from philippines... try my solution... insert you mmc to your reader and connect it to your personal computer (USB).. if your computer is having a problem to open that removable drive its ok.. don't worry about that i have solution with that later... then if your computer is having a problem detecting your removable drive be sure that you reader is working correctly.. if your reader is working maybe your mmc is broken...things you do.. REPLACE IT..!!! lets go back in other solution, if your computer is having a problem to open that removable drive (it means your memory detects by your computer) try LOW LEVEL FORMAT YOUR MEMORY CARD..install a low level format to your computer then format that mmc, then insert to your cellphone and format it to FAT..

when i attach the card reader with system and when i store the software or any thing in memory card then msg show that(cannot copy because write protected error)

its better to buy a new cellphone and memory card mama
