I got my Labtec Verse 504 a couple years ago, and it usually works, just not this past couple months. Anyways, I have it plugged into the right jack, in Control Panel > Sounds > Audio Settings, it's saying that it is plugged in, and that it works. But it won't. When I do test calls, it just comes out as a "Shhhhhhh" sound. And I'm trying to use it on Skype. But, I've tried it on AIM, MSN, Yahoo, and all of them. It still doesn't work. So, can you help me? Thanks!

If you are using skype, go to the upper left hand top and click on call. Then click on audio settings and make sure your microphone is listed as the mike to use in the window of the drop down menu. It should say logitech something in the window that says microphone.

SOURCE: Does my labtec verse 504

Depening on what operating system you are running, no it will not need a driver. Just plug it in and it will work. Please make sure you rate my answer 4 thumbs if possible, it would help me a great deal. I would be forever grateful!

Thanks
Tim

I hooked up to a different computer and it is not working

The microphone input is probably not on. Go to Start ->Control Panel -> Sound Audio ->. Depending on your OS there is a control for the mic volume

I have a labtec surround sound system and need help with installation

Hi , whats the problem bud?..
1st: make sure it is plugged into a wall socket correctly , to gain sufficient amount of power.
Then correctly , plug the green color coded wire , into the Green input jack on your PC at the back , into the motherboard unless you have a sound card...
It should work perfect then :)
Happy new year :)

Keyboard works, mouse not

Are the batteries in the mouse charged?

If you are not using rechargable batteries replace the batteries with alkaline batteries, they only last about 1 month...

Labtec LCS-2424 speakers: left speaker stopped working

I have the same problem sir, only the speaker with volume
control works. Earlier I used to twist the volume control this
way and that way to get the sound from the other speaker also.
Now the same technique doesn't work anymore.

Labtec Verse 524 Consumer Microphone

Almost all desktop microphones for the computer are not amplified (which means that they do not have their own power source). Instead the computer's sound card provides the amplification for the microphone. All you need to do is plug it in, and you're all set.
