My TV stopped working recently. It froze and when I went and unplugged it to reset it the picture stopped working. When I plug it in I can hear the speakers kick on...But there is no picture and the power light is no lit. Could this be a picture issue or maybe something to do with the motherboard?

It sounds very much as if you have the wrong source selected.
Go to the main setup menu and look through the functions there.
You should find a choice of inputs such as 'Cable' 'Antenna' 'Composite' perhaps also 'HDMI' and 'Component.'
If you are set to the wrong input, the TV will give that message.
You didn't mention where your signal originates (cable, satellite receiver, etc.) so I cannot tell you which setting you need to select.

I replaced three capacitors on my power supply board and the unit started working again, There was two 680uf 10v caps and one 1500uf 10v cap bad.

Radio Shack is your best bet. I replaced two 680uf 10v caps and one 1500uf 10v cap. It now works just like brand new. The caps I replaced had higher voltage values hopefully this will help prolong the life of them.
