Why does my safelink tracfone says prepaid service disabled

My phone is displaying prepaid services disabled

As long as the fone u want to use is network unlocked then u can use the (Obama fone , free government fone)Sim card in any fone. Samsung, LG, iPhone etc.... all will work as long as they are network unlocked. Good luck

Go to www.tracfone.com and in the upper right hand corner you'll find a link to their support option. Click on that and it will give you a list of options to choose from. Choose "prepaid disabled" and they will give you a code to enter into your phone to fix the problem.

The other option is to call Tracfone at 1-800-867-7183

select menu,< press ok >
then scroll to "code entry mode" <option8> then just
enter following: 6549 1454 2575 4690 1510 4436 hit ok and if still on "code entry screen" press cancel and .....violia phone reprogramed, or go to www.tracfone.com select support tab on website the troubleshooting, and enter your imei and follow directions, took me longer to type this than resetting my phone :)

I have personal experience with this problem.
From a landline phone with your Safelink Tracfone in the other hand, call Safelink customer service with your enrollment ID or with your Social Security Number. SafeLink: 1-800-378-1684
They may want you to cal Tracfone so in case that happens: Tracfone 1-800-867-7183

i had the same problem i was pissed but heres the solution that helped me.

1. go to www.tracfone.com
2.then go to service & support and click on technical support
3.then enter your phones serial number in the "Report Technical Difficulties" box.(to get your serial number go on your phone hit menu,then hit prepaid,then hit serial number.)then hit submit.
4.then once you hit submit scroll all the way down to "prepaid disabled unit disabled".
5.then click contiue once you get there then just follow the steps along the way.
