Hello Roland, the place where you located the Woofer is well, if it is in a corner, try to turn the Woofer pointing the air outlet towards the corner, it should have a greater presence, if it is much, you keep going until you reach the desired level
Enjoy it
Greetings Franco Dosil
Saludos Franco Dosil
first check woofer (end wire problem )
remove woofer from circuit
test with 1.5v battery cell touch parallel woofer lead neck
if disturbance sound come from woofer
woofer is ok
This is usually due to wiring the subwoofers to the wrong Ohm load. Normally those amps are rated at a 4 Ohm load. It sounds to me like they are wired down to a 2 Ohm load and bridged. It's a protection situation for the amp. If you have a multimeter, disconnect the woofers from the amp. Next, hook the meter up to the subwoofers where the wire or wires are coming out of the box. If you can give more information on the woofers, I can give you a better idea on what the numbers that you should see. It depends on if they are dual 2 or 4 Ohm woofers.
Recheck your wiring and instructions. If your woofer is self powered perhaps the amp is no good. Actually it better have amps since the laptop output will not power those speakers.
sir I am using 2.1 creative inspire speakers system, at present no sound is coming in the speakers or woofer, what is the problem.
power is on and after connecting the speakers to woofer from pc no sound is coming. what is the problem. please help me. thanks rajanna
are you running separate amps for the woofer and speakers??? sounds like you have the woofer amp being turned on be the amp remote wire (blue/white) and the speaker amp turned on with the power antenna remote wire (blue). if this is the case you need to use the blue/white to turn both amps on.
sounds like the voice coil could be open or damaged. the woofer can be reconed. reconing replaces all the moving parts in the speaker frame returning to new condition in most cases. [email protected]
You need to check your woofers. Most likely one or both may be a) blown or at a dead short or b) the ohm rating on them may be too low. What model woofers and amp do you have??
