Is your fuel pump on check for a safety cut off switch to see if it needs to be reset. if not a power to pump problem could be your pump sock is plugged or the pump has failed.

2006 jeep liberty isnt getting gas to engine.

If the pump kicks on, then it should be getting to the rail.
Sounds like an immobilizer issue (Not powering the injectors).
Disconnect a hose from the fuel rail inlet point (put it into a bottle or tub) and check if fuel is pumping during cranking.
If you get fuel at the rail, check immobilizer or ECU.

1991 Miata Starting problem

find the filter pull it off and clean it if u cant clean it replace it they usally are cheap on older vehicles but with the filter off turn the car have someone turn the car to the on position so the pump is pumping and see how good it is coming out of the line if not very good then your gas tank line to the fuel filter is clogged but if its fine check the next fuel line the one on the fuel rail there is a bolt on the fuel rail crack it open and have someone turn the key if gas comes out then you are getting fuel and that would mean your injectors are bad

My 1995 grand cherokee takes a lot to start. turns over fine, but won't fire. checked fuel rail, no pressure. after trying 15 times or so, it will start and run just fine. starts right back up unl

Your Jeep has what's known as the delayed start, no check engine light problem. The Jeep will not start until the check engine light comes on, on the dashboard. Next time it cranks but will not start, look at the dashboard to see if the check engine light is illuminated. If it's not lit up, then your Jeep does have that problem and your Jeep ecu is in need of repair or replacement. There are components inside the ecu that are going bad and will continue to get worse, eventually leading to a permanent no start condition. There are ecu repair services and replacement ecus on ebay.

I have a 95 suzuki sidekick in which i replaced the fuel tank on... i connected everything the way it was and it will crank but wont start... i can hear the fuel pump kick on and tried to spray fuel in the...

try taking the fuel line loose at the fuel filter and see if any fuel comes out of it. if no fuel is coming from the tank before the filter more than likely have the lines reversed. also make sure that you are getting the proper pressure to the fuel rail.

If the fuel pressure regulator is stuck there will be to much pressure to the injectors and the injectors won't open, and thus no start. Since you relived the pressure by lossening the cap the engine ran.

Truck has trouble starting- runs fine after start

I found the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail was leaking fuel into the intake manifold via the vacuum hose. Was hard to start and rough idle. Pull vacuum line and see if fuel is coming out-if so like me-replace it. About 50.00 at Murrays. Also the two inner cylinders on the passenger side-opposite of the vacuum line will be very rich fouled-replace them all
