You are not doing anything wrong. For some reason, Aiptek doesn't give you this option on the camera. You have to insert you SD card into a reader and delete it that way. Ya, I know, doesn't make sense. Also, a feature I hate is it does place your videos into one continuous file. Only video clips, so each time you stop then start recording, it creates a new file. Anyway, I've had my Aiptek since 10/2008 and no problems so far. Great indoor videos. Not too crazy about the still pictures though.
Hi, the first site seems to have a one fits all aiptek driver. The second aipteks home, suggests that you shouldn't need one as it is plug and play. Have you deleted files you shouldn't from the camera?
