I have microsoft office enterprise 2007 and when i click on any one of word, excel, powerpoint it will not open saying a problem with installation, and to insert installation CD. When i do this the installation stops due to an error. When i tride to remove the program via control panel it will not do as it say installation is corrupt and to insert installation Cd and above happens again. Have run diagnostics still no joy. Can you help

Try changing the extention to doc on the file, then try opening it. It works sometimes.

InstructionsTo install this download:

To remove this download:

1. On the Windows Start menu, click Control Panel.

3. In the list of currently installed programs, select Compatibility Pack for the 2007 Office system and then click Remove or Add/Remove. If a dialog box appears, follow the instructions to remove the program.


4. Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.

You can solve the problems by uninstalling the Microsoft Ofiice 2007. Then, make sure that you uninstall other Office products too. Go to C: Drive, locate and delete also the Microsoft Office folder found in the Program files folder. Now install the Microsoft Office. Your problems will be solved. You may be running into incoming files produced by Microsoft Office 2007 edition. Older MS Office versions cannot open the new format included in MS Office 2007, but 2007 can read earlier versions.
