well its either your belt too slack byt more then likely its your carbon brushes that need changing but to do this u have to take the lid off and then undue 2screws on either side under the lid at the top and the undue the screws around the back panek but there is also 1 on either side of the sides but they are covered by white plastic bungs with a hole in the middle then u can get to the motor to check the carbon brushes m8

This is similar to your model. Buy the belt online or a appliance parts store.

Theres two things to look at, the brushes on the motor, replaceable and cheap, if they are are healthy then there is one or sometimes two large capacitors, these give the motor the ooomf to get it rotating, these fail which is a common problem with washing machines and dryers, again about £5= on ebay.

Zanussi 7102 won't start. Power is ok. Condenser tank full light remains partially on even when tank is removed. When startbutton is pressed condenser full light illuminates fully. Water pours out pipe...

Pat, Have you found a solution to this yet? I have got exactly the same fault today ! Having taken the top & left side of the dryer off, I found what looks like a broken drive belt - not the main drum drivebelt which is fine, but a shorter one (about 18cm diameter loop) with no obvious place for it to have come from. Any clues would be appreciated. Dave ([email protected])
