Denon AVR-1905 Receiver

I had to discount my speaker in the ceiling to clean them out as a few mice had decided to make home in and aroung two of the speakers. After cleaning I reconnected the the speakers just as they were prior. They ran for about 10 minutes then the receiver powered down and started blinking.

I checked the speaker connection a couple of times and am sure there is now aparent short.

The receiver will power up for about 5 seconds then it powers back off with the blinking light.

It is memorial day weekend and my wife is going crazy without her TV, any suggestions?

My Denon AVR1508 receiver wont go louder than -20DB. I have disconnected all speakers and still no luck.

setup > option setup> then change -20db limit to limit OFF

DENON -AVR-1905 when power on display appears " 1 FRONT LARGE " and nothing happens no button does not respond.what could be the problem ?

Dear friend. That means you have to use Large Front speakers with correct impedance The other four speakers are for rear and surround effects and they do not need to be large (or floor standing). Most effects will come from Front speakers. I suppose that this is the problem.

Denon avr-1909 crackling sound while watching Uverse HD.

It may may the the AT+T box is really not compatible with the AVR or the Pioneer.

Check the specs on those input/outputs for the Ubox and the receiver.
See if they agree. If so, try another hookup method like HDMI ( which carries the audio too)

Drop the front panel of your receiver,there is ZONE 2 ON/OFF switch.

DENON AVR-1905 centre channel dropout

I have seen this a few times. Try resoldering the pins on the voltage regulators. If you are not comfortabel with that, bring the unit to a service shop and report the problem as intermittant. Have them resolder the regulators and the surround output amp chips. This should cost only a minimal labor amount. That may resolve the problem. If not, then we'll need to look into the surround processing circuitry.
