Kenwood ddx6019 just installed a kenwood ddx6019 radio, which is a double din cd/dvd @ 7" in dash monitor. i loaded a cd in the slot, and it plays fine and so does the radio, but it will not eject the disk, i tried resetting the unit but it doesnt want to spit it out! any suggestions?

    i have a kenwood ddx6019 and my cd will not eject, all it does is tilt inward when i press the eject button.

    I've had the same problem on and off for over a year with my DDX6019 product. A CD has been stuck and will not eject. Recently the receiver turn off automatically and I have not been able to reset or turn the receiver back on since then.

    I have the same problem. Mine will tilt the screen a little and then go back. Try pressing the eject button and then push the lower right hand part of the screen towards the left. This works for me. good luck

The double din kit was restricting it from opening properly, once i removed it from the kit it worked properly. i had to modify the kit for it to work properly!

I unhooked my battery to do some work on my car when I hooked it back up my stereo screen was black. the red triangle light was on and the fan was but nothing else the dvd would ejet either.works.
after market fitment or factory ?

would say if the fuse is ok
the stereo/ dvd requires a security code

Every time i play the cd player it jumps back to the radio
Did you check if the DVD disk you are trying to play is actually playable? Mabe the player can't read the disk so reboots to radio. Also, you should try with another DVD disk

If disk is ok, recheck your original setup options, but I'm quite sure that it's some electronic failure of your device. Simply should not make sense some hidden option to play radio wnen you select the DVD player.

So your final optin probably should de take your device to repair service. Look at your original warranty for nearest authorized repair service, even if warranty has expired.

haha ok shipping screw in a double din unit i have never seen before but in dual which is a big pos. but there should and will not ever be a screw that holds the laser in on a double din unit because the laserated in the very middle of the player on these models. sounds like you have a defective driver so i would try and get it exchanged or call kenwood
