What I have found effective is to cut a small piece of screen protector. Put that on the lens.

I dont think a polishing can help much but try with any watch dealer to take a chance.
the ideal is to get the camera replaced but take an estimate to see if the cost is reasonbale to you.

Glasses

use toothpaste rub a small amount on the scratched lens depending on how deep the scratch is rub the toothpaste over the scratch until the scratch is repaired.
Glass lenses are delicate and can be easily scratched.
These scratches mar vision beyond the lens, and can sometimes obstruct vision completely.
Prevention is the best method to keep glasses clear, but accidents can occur.
Luckily, there are several ways to quickly and inexpensively remove scratches from glass lenses.
These methods include using toothpaste, baking soda, windshield fluid and vehicle wax.
Apply a small amount of toothpaste on a soft, cotton cloth.
Rub the toothpaste onto the lens using small, circular motions.
Continue wiping for about 10 seconds and rinse with cold water.
For deep scratches, the method may need to be repeated.
Mix two parts baking soda with one part water to form a thick paste.
Use the cotton cloth to apply the paste to the lens, rubbing in a circular motion.
Rinse afterward and dry with a separate cloth.
Once again, this step may need to be repeated for stalwart scratches.
Apply a small amount of windshield fluid to a soft cloth, and polish the glass lens for several seconds.
This is more useful for light scratches, and is usually not effective against deep, prominent blemishes.
Use a clean cloth to buff vehicle wax onto the glass lens, once again moving in a circular motion, and continuing until the scratches have been removed.
Use several cloths, as the wax can adhere to the fabric, marring its performance.
Purchase an eyeglass polishing kit from a local optometrist.
These kits usually contain a polishing fluid and a soft cloth.
They are ideal for removing scratches from small glass lenses on glasses, cameras, telescopes and more.
They can be purchased for $10 to $20 and include easy-to-understand directions.

I HAVE A SCRATCH ON MY LENS, 35MM PLEASE HELP I WOULD LIKE TO BUY A REPAIR KIT.

There isn't one. Polishing out a scratch would alter the shape of the lens and ruin the image quality. Anything which fills the scratch will also alter the optical properties.

Just live with it, even fairly bad scratches are rarely visible in the images taken with a scratched lens although they sometimes catch the light at certain angles. using a lens hood will prevent that.

Go to some local PC shop and look for LCD Scratch Remover. You should find it somewhere, but if not, you can order them from Best Buy or Amazon Please leave a reply! :)

Small scratches and one burn spot

I'm sorry to hear someone marred this beautiful sink on you. This is essentially an acrylic sink, the same material used to make acrylic soaker tubs. Using any type of abrasive cleaner on this sink is going to dull the finish. This includes baking soda. The liquid auto polish referred to is essentially car wax not an abrasive polish. The car wax contains carnuba wax that will return a lustre to the finish but unlikely to remove the damage you've described. The manufacturer recommends using only non abrasive cleansers. There won't be anything you can do about the burn mark, this is going to be permanent. It could be from heat or possibly something caustic. If the gray scratches in the other sink look like they are on the surface of the acrylic you may be able to get them off. If it looks like the gray is underneath the acrylic finish then you will need to contact Thermocast for an acrylic repair kit for the color of your sink. Hopefully they are able to provide such an accessory. Use a plastic pan scraper and see if you can scratch the gray off the surface. The plastic is softer than the acrylic and will not scratch it. Thermocasts customer service line is 678-445-2022 or email them at [email protected] . Their website is http://www.thermocastsinks.com/index.html

How to polish Canon 5D display

its not glass on the display, it is acrylic if it is stained then it is stained. you may be able to polish it out with a small amount of auto buffing compound, use the liquid not the paste.but if the watch stuff didn't stain it then you should be able to use any lens cleaning clot

SCRATCHED CLOUDY DOOR WINDOW

plastic on acrylic.
now this is going to be a time consuming task.
use a small soft rag little water, go steal a tube of tooth paste and go to work. basiclly you are going to polish the windows, since acrylic is softer than glass, you can't use mechnic tools, you going to burn a hole.

good luck!

My tv

If this is on the screen itself, this is difficult. The screen has an antiglare coating. If it is an LCD set, the screen is polarized.

If the stain is on the cabinet, you may be able to remove it with polishing compound for acrylic paint. Turtlewax makes a very good polishing compound for this.

Follow the instructions for the polishing compound to use it to remove scratches and stains on plastic and painted surfaces. There is no guarantee if it will work very well on the surface or not.

If you really want to fix a scratch or stain, you can buy the replacement parts from the manufacture that are damaged. This will require some service work, but it can be done.

Repair and cost of this

if you just got some sand "on" the glass then all you need is a lens brush (from any good camera stockists) to brush the sand off,

if you try to use a cloth all you will end up doing is scratching your lens,  you can get some lens polishing drops to resolve small scratches. (also from good camera stockists)

you could try using an "AIR Spray" also.

If sand has managed to get into the zoom mechanism then this is a different matter and you will need get the lenses cleaned and polished,   your good camera stockist may be able to do this for a fee.
