Kenmore elite dryer,it's shutoff before it's time. like you set for 30 minute is off within 5 minute.

E0 is an eeprom communication error. Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds. Reapply power an observe for at least one minute if code returns you cave a bad control board.Before replacing the board check for loose connectors.

The timer could be the problem. To check this, turn the timer to a timed cycle say 30 minutes or so then time it. If in 30 minutes the timer hasn't moved and the dryer is still on, the timer is faulty replac it. If in 30 minutes the dryer is off, the heating element is your problem

Heating Element
This is the most likely cause for some dryers timer not advancing. Some dryers have two heating elements and if one goes out the timer will not advance if you use it on an automatic cycle but you will still feel heat inside the tub. Replace it

Might be a2 things: Vent blockage causing overheat OR bad thermistor. Repair clinic shows how to replace it:

you can't get any parts for this dryer the computer board is no longer available,must be old technology replace it.

Replace the coils ($30).

I'm not solving the problem, but just wanted to say I have the same problem for the same dryer

Wrong valve or defective unit

HI, there may have been a slight power failure within the home breaker unit or the dryer may have lost power to the control for some sort of reason.

I recommend a thorough inspection of the terminal block on the back side of this unit. make sure the power cord is attached tightly and the wall outlet is secure and holding the power cord correctly. if everything looks great with the terminal block and the power cord is plugged in the outlet correctly, simply unplug this unit for 5 minutes to reset the control. after the 5 minutes are up, plug the unit in once more and the PF alert should reset.

Make sure the breaker box in your home is working properly. (the actual breaker switch for the dryer must be in the on position)

Shut the breaker off for several hours. Turned it back on.
