Check all the pins at both ends of the cable and make sure they are seated properly, also try it with another PC to make sure it is not the PC video card problem.

How do I remove a blue cast from the screen?

This could be a lot of things. If you hook another monitor to it that could tell you if it is the video hardware that is in the computer. If you cannot do that, check the device manager to see if it has any devices that are not working right. It could also be a driver so make sure they are all up to date. If none of those things pan out then it is the lcd screen.

Get a replacement vga lead for it as i am guessing that it has become faulty, try bending the cable where it connects to the pc and monitor and see if you notice a change if it goes back to normal your cable is not attached correctly or it has broken connections inside.

Please leave feedback for me if this helped

I doubt that the monitor is on its way out, the yellow cast is indicative that either the vdu cable is damaged, or more likely, the inner circuits are failing, you may need to replace the monitor

Blue cast to screen

It is either your video card or the cable from the computer to the monitor. Assuming you used a different cable with the new monitor, then it is your video card. You'll need to replace it or, if it's onboard video, add one to your system.
