At first ti connect recognized devise now saying cant find my ti-89 device

At first, open TI Connect software and open TI Device Explorer. Then in the Actions menu choose option Select Device and select Port USB, Cable USB cable and Device TI 89 Titanium(all in the same line).

Ti-84 plus, calculator is frozen with just a flashing cursor, no key operations work. Batteries were corroded, but calculator has brand new batteries now, and problem still persists. Would resetting it...

its possible that the batteries leaked inside and cause some problem.
you can try to reset but only if you can connect the Calculator to the computer because the keypad is not working

Is it possible that the key pad is dirty? You may have to take the calculator apart and clean the key pad area. Don't do it unless you are fairly handy. Good luck!

"Fix" indicates the calculator is rounding results. Press "Fix" followed by "." (decimal point) to remove the fixed decimal setting.

You can use the calculator with it on the screen; the indicator simply tells you that it's in a fixed-decimal setting. To remove the fixed-decimal setting, press FIX . (decimal point).

How do I clear off fix (rounding) mode on the TI-10 and TI-15?

In order to clear Fix off the calculator just press the following keys
- First press the [Fix] key
- Next press the [.] decimal key
