This could be one of two things. Take the lid off the tank and add a few drops of food coloring and let it set, if the color shows up in the bowl you have what is called a silent leak. aka your flap is bad and only replace it with the exact factory flapper that your toilet came with. yes there are different ones and you will probably have more problems using after market parts.MAKE SURE THAT THE SEAT IS CLEAN AND FREE OF CALCIUM OR NICKS. The other problem although not as common check that the black inlet water tube is above the water line and that the water stops filling apx 1": below top of the white tube that fills the bowl.
Hi
There are many things that can go wrong with a Kenmore refrigerator ice maker. Your ice maker may be leaking.
Refer to your user manual to determine where your fill volume adjustment dial is and turn it down. One-half to one full turn usually is approximately equal to 20 to 40 cc, and the correct fill is usually 130 to 150 cc ( 4.5 to 5.0 oz ).See if there are icicles hanging from the fill spout and/or on the ice maker's sides. If there are, this means your water inlet valve is leaking and will need replacing. Refer to your user manual for a part number, or call a technician. Check to see if the ejector seal is cracked. If it is, replace it. Refer to your user manual for a part number, or call a technician.
