No problem, but very important question

I have a Presto Heatdish. I like it very much. Recently, I bought a parrot. They are in danger when exposed to teflon, xylon, or any not stick surface that is heated. Is there any teflon or like chemicals added to this heater? I would like to put the heater near my bird after he bathes to help dry him. After researching this, many bird owners have stated that many space heaters are dangerous due to this chemical. Thanks. Doris Davis

It's alot easier to use a radiator heater that will not cause any doubt.They are a little more expensive and 100% safer & reliable.

Ask a local electrician to look at it for you, it may be dangerous as you have dropped it. It could be a simple loose wire but remember don't try to use it until it has been checked out. Inspect it fully visually, is there anything obviously loose? Does it rattle when you shake it? Is the flex connected properly at both ends? For help you could call Presto at 1-800-877-044, they may be able to repair or swap it out for you.
