Rockband guitar wont connect

I just got rockband for ps2 and my guitar wont connect. yes i read the manual! yes i have new batteries! yes i clicked the connect button! yes its definetely on! and yes aive tried everything else but it wont work my guitar seems unresponsive! i need help!

My guitar wont work for Rock Band, It worked for a couple of hours. Then i went back to play. And now it wont connect. I changed the batteries still wont connect. Everything else connects ie micro phone drums. But the guitar wont work. Will not connect HELP

Try a normal controller if the normal controller works then your gutar doesn't i would take it back to get it replaced.

My ps2 has a problem reading certain games but works with others

The PS2 has always had trouble with certain discs. And yes you can often tell by the "color". RE4 although from ancient was pre PS3 and basically some of the newer games wont work on the "old" PS2's as well. Partially due to the fact they are a bit dirtier and worn out and cant read the faster speeds as well. You might want to consider purchasing a "new" PS2 ($99) that wont have the same problem.

Red blinking light on wireless guitar for rockband on the ps2

Red light means ur game pad's analog function is on. If it is off then the function will b digital. Remember each game adjusts analog/digital function itself automatically. Plz feel free 2 ask ny problems related PS2.

Ps2 guitar connection

unfortunetily the ps2 guitars dont work on the 360 you may be able to trade the ps2 guitar in for a 360 guitar at a local game stop or any place you can trade games at.

PS2 slimline wont read guitar hero metallica or rockband

you may need to call Sony and ship your playstation to Texas. i bought GH world tour and the old playstations can't read the triple layer coding or something like that. cost $50 but it worked. they also told me it happened with the rockband games as well.

Yea i got a new ps2 last may because my ps2 b4 that wuldnt read rockband one but read all my other games so i got a new one in may of 2008. And now i just got guitar hero world tour just last sunday...

take it back where you bought it and get a new one. Especially if you just bought it.
