Hi-- This is actually a problem with the Canon LK-51B battery pack that goes with the iP90v portable printer. We've charged up the battery pack and all the lights have gone out, indicating full charge. When we connect it to the printer and turn the printer on, the lights on the battery pack do not come on, as they should. And the printer turns off again in a few seconds-like there is no power. When we plug the AC adapter into the printer thru the battery pack, all works fine--battery lights come on as normal and the printer works. I checked out the tiny 5 pin connecter interface between the printer & the battery pack, and it looks good-I even dusted it out with a brush. The lights on the battery pack don't even blink when you turn on the printer, as the manual says it will do, as it "reads" the battery's charge. If we turn on the printer without the AC adapter plugged in, it goes dead in the water. Both units are brand new. Help!

IP90v Canon Portable Printer with "waste ink absorber full" message and has now quit printing. What to do about it?

Canon's support site for this issue is: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/pixma_ip_series/pixma_ip90v#ServiceAndSupport. It says you have to have a service tech change this filter thing AND also reset the counter to have it work again.

Is there a reset procedure for Canon Pixma iP90v

Hi ...

For all Canon printers, if you switch off and unplug the power cable for 30 sec to 1 min, and then plug it back it, it resets the printer ....

Most of the issue related to Canon printer gets resolved by performing the above steps ...

Cheers :)

Printer software needed

Hi,

go to the site of canon and then to the support area.
after you have slected your device try to locate the downloads eg 'software' or 'driver' downloads.
just install them later on and maybe after a required reboot it'll all work just fine.

if you can't find'em like that than just type something like Canon iP90v driver download in google...

hope this is helpful and greetings,
olivier.
