If the TV is under warranty, take it in for repair. If it is not, you can remove the back and check the sound card. If there is a fuse there, i may be blown. Not sure about the model of your TV... but it could be as simple as a fuse. The sound card has the two (or more depending on the model) wires one coming from the right of the tv and one from the left. It looks like this on my TV. If it's not on the sound card, check all fuses. And make sure the TV isn't on Mute! no sound from any input. - 8d1526c.jpg

My picture and keep on breaking up on some channel

If you have a good picture on some channels and the picture breaks up on others , it could be the input signal. What is the source of the input signal; i.e. cable, satellite, antenna???? Do you have a cable box? The problem may be with the box or with the provider's signal.

How to program the autio vidio inputs for zenith tv

Hi cathie
If you have sound it means that the tv is in aux/video mode.
Now make sure that the video output of the vcr is connected to the same aux/video input that has the sound connected to. i.e input 1 or 2 .
Also you want to try and switch with another cable to make sure that the cable you are using now is o.k.
Another way to try the tv input would be to connect something else in that input(cable box ,dvd ,video game etc,)
Try it and let me know.

HD50LPW42 screen is black with antenna inputs

It sounds to me like you have a tuner issue, I have seen this before. If you have a good picture from other sources and they have the same antenna input, the tuner is suspect.

I hope that this helps you solve your issue.
Thanks

Playing a dvd and cant get picture just sound

Change the channel down past 02 until you get to INPUT 1, AUX, INPUT 2, ect. One of these will show the picture. Check your wiring as well. The RCA (audio/video) jacks must go from the OUT connectors from the DVD to the IN connectors for Video or Input 1 or 2. I know this sounds remedial but I get them mixed up when in a hurry since it is usually dark and they are hard to see. Good luck and thanks for allowing me to help you. Loss of picture and sound.

Did you check in your tv settings about which input is either cable or antenna, try doing a "autoscan" of channels based off your antenna, after seeing what your main input is

SanyoDS25390 Tv good picture buzzing noise

What are you using as a source? If its a cable/satallite box, double check that first. If its a video input or a scart input, swap out the cables. If it still there you could have an input problem or a filter capacitor going bad. Does the hum get louder with sound? If it does it is an input source and or cables. Good luck Ps please dont forget to rate this thread.
