Try a NVRAM initialization. Turn the printer off and before turning it back on hold down the right arrow and cancel buttons together while the device is powered back on.

it is 100% mechanism issue but you need to identify weather the printer head is in struck in left side[service station] or right side..
if it is struck in service station, you need to replace or reinsert the service station....
Sometime if a button is stuck it can lock up the processor and cause all the buttons connected to it to not function. Insure all buttons press and release normally. If all buttons appear to press and release in a normal fashion a trip to the repair center may be call for.
I did not find a solution, fortunately as the camera was still within its warranty period of 1 year, we are arranging to return it to the store where it was purchased.
ON THE BACK OF THE MP3 THERE SHOULD BE A RESET BUTTON AND YOU CAN PUSH THAT WITH THE BACK OF AND EARING. JUST DON'T POKE IT WITH ANYTHING SHARP LIKE A NEEDLE IT CAN DAMAGE THE BUTTON AND MIGHT RESET ITSELF ALL THE TIME.

i think u broke some parts in the tape loading mechnism or u misaligned the initial position of the mechanism. thats why the error is still there. some switches still activated. i suggest that u bring it to a qualified technician if u dont know anything about this.
