Paper in document feeder

Your document must be in place/position to be scanned, faxed, etc.

Place document, then scan. ADF is your automatic document feeder. Used when copying/scanning multiple pages. Reload and try again.

my scaner icon window show this messege:
an automatic socument feeder paper jam has been detected. clear the jam and try scaning again

Hey, if you're getting the Jam at Document feeder error even though there is no paper jam. First try turning the machine off and back on, if the problem continues you most likely need to replace the DADF assembly (document feeder) part# 004K07270. The part is a little expensive, but you can buy it as an exchange for your bad one from iteminc.com to save you money. Replacing the part is pretty simple, here is a video that shows you how.

You need to replace the document feeder motor the gears on the motor shaft are split and slipping. New motor is 12.72 at http://www.compassmicro.com/parts2.cfm

Good day!Try to check the feeder if it has paper on it..then try on and off the printer until it holds normal status..

I just upgrated my Vista system as recomanded, and after that I am not able to scan documents, getting the messGE " NO PAPER IN THE DOCUMENT FEEDER " on my all in one laiser jet 3050

Have you looked to see if there is any paper at all in the trays. That are getting hung up.?? I can help

Try cleaning the rubber rollers onder the cover where the documents feed in, using a rag and some rubbing alcohol.
