Once it starts make sure to backup all your essential data. Then download the diagnostic disk utility from the disk manufacturer website and check the disk for errors.
Alternatively, check the SMART status of your disk by downloading Passmark SMART monitor.
It's very easy. First turn the laptop off with the DVD bay open. You will have to unscrew the memory ram cover, and pull it.
Afterwards you take a look at the screw that's on the left of the ram's compartiment. See this picture:

If you look close to the ram compartment you will see a screw on the left side. Unscrew it and that's it. You will only have to pull the dvd rom firmly outside the laptop-you can pull it from the bay, that why I've told you to let it open.
