My son bought a TEAC SL D80 when in America, I need a cct diagram and a transformer so as to use it in UK is there any hope of this?

Probably you want to convert it to 220 volt. Simple, go to mechanic who will take out Transformer and easily convert it to 220, I got it done myself as well, AM/FM will work properly being analogue tuning.
