Washer door drops when i open it.when i close it i have to lift door. hinge seems loose

This may seem obvious, but tighten all the screws on the front panel, especially around the door hinge area. A #2 Phillips screwdriver is all you need. Also, try to see where it's dropping - is it at the door itself, or does the entire hinge assembly sag where it enters the washer?

Door sags 1996 buick

If you have to lift up on the door and or close it hard--likely a bad hinge --each door has two and you can look into replacing the whole hinge or there are kits with the pin and bushings that can be used to repair a hinge.

Driver door would be most common if car that age and you may just need one of the two hinges replaced/repaired.

Right door no longer closes all the way by itself

If you're loading up the door with a large amount heavy items such as gallons of milk, water, juices, etc. - the door may be sagging on its hinges.

Typically, there are several screws that hold the top and bottom hinges to the fridge frame. While supporting the weight of the open door with blocks or books, check to see of the screws have loosened up or if the hinge has slipped on the fridge cabinet. It may be helpful to partially / fully unload groceries / liquids from the door.

You may be able to detect that something has happened if there is space between the top hinge and door. This suggests that the door has slipped slightly and may be rubbing on something. Look for scrapes, scratches and filings in the area of the bottom hinge. These are a tip off that something has changed. Try lifting the door up. Is there "play" between the hinges that allows the door to slide up and down? A little bit is normal, but too much indicates a sagging or bent (not common) hinge. You may have to lift and support the door to take up the "play"; then loosen the bottom hinge's screws and slide the hinge up until it is snug against the bottom of the door. Tighten the screws firmly to hold the hinge in place. This should lift the door back to where it was (or close to it) and prevent any rubbing or scraping that may have been happening before.

Lastly, make sure that the doors seals haven't shifted or become damaged in such a way as to interfere with the door closing completely. Good luck!

I have a kenmore he4t washer and the front door

First thing to check is if your door hinge has a sag to it. The next step if there is a sag is try adusting the screws that hold the hinge on the frame of the door sometimes these do come loose. and do require tightening. Folowing confirmation that there is no sag in the hinge your next step would to order a new door latch. If you are not mechanically capable of removing the front section of the machine you should call a technician

Jvc hd7. there is "one" pixel "dead".

I don't know if its from the CCD or from your LCD Monitor. CCD dead pixels can be fix but you can't do this at home, need service center because first you gonna need Service Support Software, second you need connecting cable(QAMxxx) and (YTUxxx) Jig. Sorry

REFRIGERATOR GSH25KGMCWW ICE DOOR WILL NOT CLOSE

hi Step 1: If the door won't shut tightly, tip the refrigerator slightly backward by propping up the front of the unit or unscrewing the front leveling legs two complete turns. Experiment with this adjustment until the door stays closed, but don't tip the unit very far out of front-to-back level.

Step 2: If leveling doesn't work, tighten the hinge screws. You may have to open the door (especially the freezer door) to turn these screws. On some units, you may have to remove a hinge cap or trim to reach the screws; pry off the cap or trim with a screwdriver. Sagging and looseness can be corrected by shimming the door hinges. Loosen the hinge and place a hinge-shaped cardboard shim between the hinge and the door. Then tighten the hinge again. Sagging may also be caused by a wrongly placed shim. In this case, you can correct the problem by removing the shim. Experiment with the shims; you may be able to eliminate the sagging.

Step 3: If the door is warped, tighten the screws that hold the inner door shell to the outer door shell. You may have to change or adjust the door gasket after making this adjustment.

Step 4: Check the catch. Newer units have a magnetic catch on the door. If the door doesn't latch properly, remove the magnetic strike from the inner door shell and shim it slightly with a piece of thin cardboard. You may have to adjust the gasket to conform with the new shim.
