Make sure the bobbin has a 3-5 inch thread tail
Then make sure the top thread has a 3-5 inch tail
Then hold the top thread tail with your fingers (away from the needle)
& use the hand wheel on the right hand side of the machine to slowly
Lower the needle in the bobbin area & see if the bobbin thread will pick
Up that way
Testimonial: "Thanks for the answer it did not work for me though"
could the needle possibly be in backwards?
I'm having the same problem it stopped in the middle of sewing a shirt I only have one cuff left to do please help??????
here are some suggestions--
change the needle
clean out from under the needle plate
also clean out aroung the bobbin area
check to make sure the thread is not catching on anything
it is possible that the timing may need adjusting
